About
Studio Pettinà is a Beirut(LB) based practice devoted to the creation of furniture and interior objects that reside at the intersection of art and function. Founded by Sherine Zein and Pascale Sarkis, the studio collaborates with contemporary artists to design hand-crafted pieces across varied materials.

Founders
Sherine Zein
My career began with studying architecture in Europe, where I discovered that design isn’t defined only by space, but by the emotion it holds. Over time, my work shifted toward interiors, where every detail — from material to proportion — became personal. That path eventually led me to furniture. In the curve of a chair or the edge of a table, I found a way to shape emotion with intention and precision.
Pascale Sarkis
As an interior architect, I've worked alongside some of the most inspiring names in the field. My eye was trained to notice what others might overlook — from the way a small joint is resolved to the grand gesture of a space. Design, to me, is where meaning lives in the details. Whether it's lighting, texture, or form, every element must feel considered and lasting. Like architecture, furniture creates harmony, quietly transforming the spaces it becomes part of.
Vision
Pursuing the discipline of form as a mode of thought where materials are not shaped for use alone, but for reflection, restraint, and the quiet dignity of presence.

Material
Material shapes the form and structure defines the balance. Each piece is a study in craftsmanship and simplicity.
